How long can you use a TTC transfer?
Your transfer is valid for two hours. Tap your PRESTO card or PRESTO Ticket on a reader every time you transfer between vehicles or a subway station. This validates your transfer. As long as you are within two hours of your first tap you will not be charged another fare.
How long does presto transfer last?
Transfers are valid for 2 hours from the time of your first tap. If you board other vehicles within 2 hours your tap counts as a transfer.
How long is TTC Presto pass valid for?
You could also purchase a PRESTO card for $6 and load it with money at a Fare Vending Machine in TTC subway stations, Shoppers Drug Mart locations, online at prestocard.ca or at the TTC Customer Service Centre. PRESTO cards never expire and can be registered to protect your balance if lost or damaged.
Can you still use TTC tokens?

Can you buy TTC tokens with a credit card?
If you are paying by cash, TTC ticket or token you need to use the Fares and Transfers Machines on the streetcars. These machines take exact change only. You cannot use a credit or debit card to pay your fare.
Can you pay on the bus with card?
Look for the contactless symbol on your credit or debit card to see if your card is contactless enabled. Then, board a bus with the contactless symbol and instead of paying with cash, simply tap your card or contactless-enabled device onto the reader and wait for the beep.
