How much is a bus ticket in Belfast?
The fare is £2.40 for a single journey or £3.60 for a return fare which is valid for 1 month. Regarding travelling around the Belfast City,Translink have a DayLink card which gives you unlimited bus journeys for the day. Purchase for 1, 5 or 10 days as required or you can top up on the bus for travel for the day.
How do you pay for bus in Sunshine Coast?
Most bus and train services across the Sunshine Coast use the TransLink ticketing system. You can travel on TransLink services with a go card, go seeQ card or single paper ticket.
Can you top up SmartLink card online?
To add trips to your SmartLink Card online at any time, simply set up the “One -Time Replenishment ” feature and choose a “trip product” (10, 20, or 40 trips, or 30 day pass) you would like to add. Your designated credit card will immediately be charged the appropriate amount for the trip product chosen.
How long does a TransLink return ticket last?
Travel starts immediately on the day you purchase your ticket and is valid for travel for one full month.
How much do busses cost to make?
The first 600 new Routemasters cost TfL £212.7m, that’s £354,500 per bus, the next 200 cost £69.9m a slight discount at £349,500 per bus. But look at the cost of an equivalent double decker bus and it all becomes a bit murky.
The option to pay for travel using cash and paper tickets has been included in the system planning, but due to COVID-19 impacts, the Translink network is currently cashless.
Can I use my debit card on the bus?
Look for the contactless symbol on your credit or debit card to see if your card is contactless enabled. Then, board a bus with the contactless symbol and instead of paying with cash, simply tap your card or contactless-enabled device onto the reader and wait for the beep.

Will you still let customers pay by cash on your buses? Customers will still be able to pay with cash for their fare, but they will need to have the exact fare ready for their journey as our drivers won’t be able to issue change.

Services in South East Queensland are currently cashless. If you are paying with cash, you will need to purchase a ticket before boarding your service.
How do I get a SmartLink card?
To purchase a PATH SmartLink Card, you may do one of the following:
- Complete an online request form.
- Print and complete the downloadable mail-in request form.
- Visit the blue SmartLink Card Vending Machines at these PATH stations: Newark, World Trade Center, Journal Square, 33rd Street, Exchange Place, Pavonia/Newport.
Adult and senior cards are programmed to expire 10 years from the date of issue. Child go cards expire on the child’s 15th birthday. You can also check the expiry date by calling 13 12 30 or at selected card locations (visit translink.com.au/gocardretailers). An expired go card is not valid for travel.
Can I get my bus ticket refunded?
You can apply anytime for a refund on your season ticket if it hasn’t expired. We’ll calculate your refund from the day you contact us and when we confirm your details. When you apply, you need to give us your: Oyster card number.
Your balance and transaction history Your current balance is displayed on the card reader each time you touch on or off. You can also check your balance online or at your local retailer.
Up to 4 children under the age of 5 can travel for free, while children aged 5-15 will pay a discounted rate. Children aged 16 and over will be charged an adult fare unless they’re eligible for a Scholar pass, unirider, VIP card or similar.
